Steph is incredibly smart and passionate, and has a job that basically involves saving the world. I'm intimidated by her, but only in a way that makes me want to be better. Almost 10 years ago (10 years!) Steph and I went on a trip together to Japan, and it's still one of the best holidays I've ever been on. We went to Tokyo Disney Sea, a steampunk wonderland that is the best of the Disneys. Happy to fight anyone who disagrees.

I'm calling Carol my mum friend, which I hope she doesn't mind, because Carol was pretty much my second mum while I was in high school. She looked after me like one of her own kids, fed me constantly, and was kind to me always, even when I accidentally gave her youngest a black eye (I'm still very sorry about that). You genuinely couldn't ask for a better back-up mum.
