In this episode I call my kid cousin, Ella, and I tell her a joke.

Three jokes actually, and Ella had one for me too, so this episode is PACKED. Ella is not exactly my cousin, but her Grandma is my Dad's cousin, so if someone could work out the official title of our relationship and get back to me, that would be awesome. In the meantime, I'm going with Cousin. Ella and her mum Campbell (who is also in the episode, hi Campbell!) are some of my most loyal listeners, and I could not be more excited to have an excuse to give them a call and check in. Really can't wait for the end of this pandemic so we can all get back together and say hi in person again.

In this episode I call my friend, Leanne, and I tell her a joke.

Leanne was my first ever housemate when I moved out of home, and we lived together while we were both at uni. My strongest memories of that time are watching the BBC Pride and Prejudice mini-series pretty much every night, and breaking our Late Show DVDs from overuse. Leanne taught me lots about how to be a respectful housemate, and how to be a good human. She's a doctor now, so she's proper fancy, but not too fancy to take my calls.

Susan is a few years older than me, so when I was little she was the big kid - she was the coolest person I'd ever met, and I desperately wanted to be like her. Now we're both grown ups and she's STILL the coolest person I know, and I still desperately want to be like her. Susan is an artist, and a beekeeper, and an incredible mum/mom, and I love her to the moon and back.
