Batch 367: Monica Potter, head brewer at Pedals & Pints Brewing Company, is back! We're talking about drinking in other cities, crazy drunks at the airport, why thiols are so cool, getting drunk at Hooters, and a drunk lady getting slammed with a chair! - Greg and Monica are drinking Cuddle Puddle, a hazy IPA from Black Hammer Brewing in San Francisco. Flex is drinking what may be his favorite beer ever: Voltron Volume One from 4 Hands Brewing Company.  - We start off by embarrassing Monica for all of her Instagram videos and for being the face of Pedals & Pint's social media. Greg talks about his trip to San Francisco and the beer research he was able to conduct. He also talks about the drunk lady at the airport that got chased down for not finishing her drink. Flex needs to go to the Great America Beer Festival, and Greg (with help from AI) has written a letter to his wife. And Monica breaks down how cool thiols and thiolized yeast are when it comes to making IPAs. - In the news: Diageo will roll out more non-alcoholic Guinness… in Ireland! Monster and Arizona are both coming out with "hard" versions of their drinks. Coca-Cola launches an alcoholic off-shoot brand. A drunk woman turns a gun on restaurant employees, only to be taken down by furniture. And Hooters will be serving Hard Mountain Dew, in case you need one less reason to go.  - Monica: @momoagogooo @pedalsandpintsbrewing - Flex: Instagram: @flex_me_a_beer - Craft Beer Republic:  www.CraftBeerRepublic.com  Instagram: @CraftBeerRepublic Facebook: CraftBeerRepublicPod Twitter: CraftBeerRepub (805) 538-2337
