Debbie Ali, born and raised on a tiny tropical island in the Caribbean, now resides in Canada, where she continues to hone her professional writing skills as an international bestselling author, screenplay writer, and Lifetime Achievement Award winner. With over 28 years of experience, she has launched magazines and newsletters, worked in journalism and public relations, and earned a BA in Mass Communications, blending natural creativity with professional expertise to craft her unique writing style. Debbie completed her first historical fiction novel at 19 and has since ventured into film, with two of her screenplays produced, alongside writing for documentaries and ghostwriting for both fiction and nonfiction. A former teacher and a dedicated mental health advocate, she has spent two decades counseling survivors of trauma and violence, a passion that earned her a Lifetime Achievement Award. Through her company, 3gl Consulting, she provides counseling services to those in need. Deeply empathetic and driven by a love for children and the underprivileged, Debbie also enjoys nature, movies, music, reading, writing, and spiritedly supporting football, F1 racing, and tennis, with film remaining her greatest inspiration.
