In this week’s episode, Beau sits down with Sam Oldham, a welder who has been sharing tips from the road on TikTok to try and help people who are getting into welding or trying to chase the shutdown life. He shares how he learned how to weld after hearing about it from students from Missouri Welding Institute, then took lessons with a mutual connection. From showing up for a job to only be told they had 2 days left, to driving 24 hours to take a weld test, he saw a lot in his time out in the field that he is trying to share to better prepare people for what to expect.
