Do you even hack, bro?

We’re talking the 1995 movie Hackers! Did you learn to code? Could you compete with the elite? Prove it.

Not 1337, mind you, elite.

Anyway, we’re talking an absolute classic, so get on board!

Everyone once in a while, there comes a movie that absolutely, positively should NOT be remade! Princess Bride is one of those movies.

Of course, Hollywood is probably going to try anyway, so just in case here is the best possible case for an Ideal Remake.

To discuss this amazing movie, we are joined by one of the movie’s all-time biggest fans, Zach Luna (@ZacharyJLuna). Zach has cosplayed as Wesley for years, and is himself an exceptional swordsman. He can also recite this movie beginning to end from memory, so we trust his opinion!

Princess Bride has a special place in everyone’s heart, but we endeavor to do you all proud! Let’s get 2018 started off right with Princess Bride!!

Do you think we’ll make it?

Today is a very special day! It’s National-No-Traffic-in-LA-Day! Also something called Christmas or whatever, but I didn’t have that growing up, so whatever.

Mike and Sam decided they needed to do a proper Christmas special and whose catalog is better to pull from then Shane Black?

We’re talking The Long Kiss Goodnight! The movie about Jason Bourne, but Bourne is a lady. And AWESOME Geena Davis lady! Samuel L. Jackson is there too and also very cool!

Sam loves this movie, and Mike thinks its okay. And with their powers combined, they make an Ideal Remake!

Hey listener, wanna make 10 bucks?

Just a warning up top, the sound in this episode is a little off. Sam’s connection was spotty and it is noticeable. We hope this doesn’t affect your enjoyment of the episode! We’re still pretty proud of it!

Repo Man is one of the all time punk classics, and who better to join us than the Detroit Punk Legend: Jimmy Doom! (@JamesDoom)

Mike and Jimmy grew up in punk and grew up in Detroit, and Sam lives in Los Angeles! It’s perfect!

Repo Man is a cult classic that doesn’t make a LOT of sense, but hey, people just love it. So take a look a in the trunk and get VAPORIZED! With excitement! For Repo Man!

We’ll put a spell to make the absolutely Ideal Remake!

We are joined by the amazing artist who created the Ideal Remake logo, Lindsay Lleras! And together the three of us break into the Disney/Halloween classic Hocus Pocus.

This movie is a staple of Halloween parties everywhere! Certainly the ones that Sam and Lindsay attend. But Disney, in their “infinite” wisdom have decided that this remake is happening. SO, what are we to do but their work for them?

If this remake MUST happen, let’s make it ideal! So why don’t YOU check out Ideal Remake!
