The year is 1980. Star Wars is pretty popular. Everyone is talking about it. So what if, and here me out, we just did that again? No? What if we did Star Wars AND The Magnificent Seven? Heck yeah! Now we’ve got ourselves a movie!
Battle Beyond the Stars is a WILD ride. There’s space, explosions, that one spaceship has boobs… the movie basically has everything! So what can Tanner (@sparkyupstart on Blue Sky) and I POSSIBLY do to remake this movie? I’m pretty sure the answer is spend more time on the script!

It’s my Sesquicentennisode! Did I learn that word from Strong Bad emails? Yes. Do I feel good about using it now? Also yes! But that means this is episode 150! And I cannot believe I have made it this far. So what better way to celebrate this incredible milestone than remaking what will DEFINITELY be the oldest movie I will ever cover on this podcast!

That’s Somewhere in Time! Christopher Reeve stars as Richard Collier in a bid to be seen as a true leading man outside his Superman cape. And he does a wonderful job! But do Scott Carelli (@ScottCarelli on Instagram) and I have what it takes to rebuild this movie from the ground up?

This is a movie that they each watched whenever it came on the TV. And it was so much fun to talk about it again!
DCOM’s are a very special part of many millennial childhood’s, so can Celeste and Sam be SO good at remaking it in this episode that they get to remake one for REAL?? Only time will tell!
