“Hey, I am what I am…”
Have you ever heard someone say that? (or maybe you’ve said it?) It’s more of a common response than it should be when making excuses for personality or behavior. The Apostle Paul said the same thing, but he added some truth to his statement. “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect…” (1 Corinthians 15:10).
In this episode of Identity Advantage, Daphne and Angie talk about this very important understanding of grace. The Bible instructs us to not take the grace of God in vain, which means without effect or even in an improper manner. In most cases, taking grace for granted is not intentional but understanding how God intended grace to operate in our lives can be a huge help!

What if we could tell you the ONE THING that is a really BIG DEAL to God? Wouldn't you want to know (1) what it is, and (2) more about it?
In this episode of Identity Advantage, Daphne and Angie reveal why righteousness is not just a big deal to God, it's THE biggest deal to Him! And with all things that are of great value, there are great benefits, privileges (and responsibilities) that accompany our gift of righteousness.
You'll have to tune in to find out why we titled this No More Cheese & Crackers -- but you'll be glad you did!

"A time will come when some will no longer tolerate sound teaching. Instead, they will live by their own desires; they'll scratch their itching ears by surrounding themselves with teachers who approve of their lifestyles and tell them what they want to hear" (2 Timothy 4:3, TVB).
In this episode of Identity Advantage, Daphne and Angie ask the question: how easily would you be persuaded to believe something else (different from God's written word)? In several places, the Bible says there is certain behavior that will surface in the days preceding the return of Jesus. One of which is a falling away from the faith or a desire to find approval for compromised behavior. This is an important discussion because of how dangerous these traps are to our identity in Christ and the people of God in general.
We need to beware of anything that contradicts God's Word.

Being #politicallycorrect is not the same as being #biblicallycorrect.

Welcome to the first podcast for Identity Advantage. In this episode, we talk about "Why Identity Advantage?" In other words, what is the advantage of knowing your identity (in Christ)?
We'll also take a brief look at why we feel these basics are important for every believer:
One of the things we both can testify of is this: Had we not learned Christ (meaning, who He is and what His Word says), we would not be where we are today.
