Sitting perfectly still with eyes closed is not a prerequisite for being mindful. The fact is a little movement can bring you back into the moment. When we make this daily connection to being present through out the day it gives back to us by creating the space and the intention for healing and creating better health. The more we bring in practices that integrate mind-body, the more we experience embodiment. It's through these moments of truly being present that opens the door to listening to the body and reawakening to our inner wisdom and intuition. Mindfulness leads to understanding, dealing with and resolving unwanted habits to bring in more balance and harmony in life. Nourishing your skin is more than just putting products on the external, this certainly can feel like it is doing the trick in the moment. However going deeper to really create nourishment for your skin is yes, an internal practice as well. Skin care is a strategy that incorporates both the internal and external and by doing this you bring in long lasting nourishment for the skin and your whole self. It's through connecting to deeper knowledge of your wholeness that the creation of whole-body vitality and radiance shines through.

In today's episode I wanted to touch upon some tips that can assist with anxiety and stress and one of these is meditation. When we can access a place a safety it can lead us to release the tensions that we carry around and through relaxation this leads to the body's ability to release muscular tension, which in turn leads to more awareness about what you've been tense about. It's through the simplicity of daily rituals and practices that with the right intention can bring in the space to witness your thoughts and impulses. There is no way to avoid tension, however we can bring in practices that can indeed release muscle tension and soften your thoughts.

Welcome to the Igniting Shakti Podcast - where we interrupt self-override and reclaim steady power.
I’m Natasha, and I help midlife women recognize where they’ve been…
Because burnout isn’t the root.
Self-override is.
When you constantly push through exhaustion, silence your body’s signals, perform instead of pause, and normalize nervous system chaos - survival mode becomes your baseline.
This podcast is where we interrupt that pattern.
Inside, you’ll find grounded conversations on:
• The real root of burnout and chronic overwhelm
• How self-override shows up in your body, work, relationships, and health
• Ritual as intentional presence
• Rhythm as pattern awareness
• Regulation as steady nervous system power
• Ancient wisdom tools - including Ayurveda, numerology, feminine archetypes, and cyclical living - applied practically, not mystically
This is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about stopping the override.
If you’re ready to move from survival mode to clarity, steadiness, and embodied leadership - you’re in the right place.
