I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the upcoming winter movies. Call me crazy, but the summer movie season was a bit of a dud this year. Other than Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, Spider-Man Homecoming, Wonder Woman, and Home Again, I pretty much stayed at the house and ate my own popcorn.

Clearly, I have a thing for super hero movies and love stories. Throw dance and music genres in there and I’m golden.

That’s why I invited my friend Todd to help me out with episode 23. He’s way more refined than I am when it comes to Oscar contenders. You want Dunkirk-ish movie recommendations? He’s your guy.

Although it was super hard to narrow down, here are the main items we discuss:

We are both very nervous about Justice League.

I’m glad Thor cut his hair.

Todd throws some Winston Churchill in the mix with Darkest Hour.

I bring it back to glitz and glamor with The Greatest Showman.

Aaron Sorkin can do no wrong. Todd convinced me to see Molly’s Game as a result.
