ON THIS week's podcast, we look ahead to Ilen Rovers’ county Intermediate A Football Championship final against Ballinora this Sunday (1.30pm).

Flor O’Driscoll’s side go into this decider unbeaten in the championship and will hope that form can take them to glory.

Ilen have beaten Boherbue, St Vincent’s, Mitchelstown and Adrigole en route to the decider but are coming up against a Ballinora side who took out Gabriel Rangers and Kilmurry in the knockout stage.

The West Cork club have had a great season and will want to finish on a high.

Elsewhere, Carbery champions Kilmacabea and Ballinascarthy get their county campaigns underway this weekend.

The U21 sides of Ibane Gaels and St Colum’s are in knockout action too in a busy period for sport, despite the winter nights coming.
