On a cold snowy winter's night, December 5th, good children are full of joy as they get ready for bed, for the following day is The Feast of St. Nicholas and their good deeds have not gone unnoticed. They will awaken to gifts of chocolate or a toy, but not all are rushing to go to bed that night. The bad children are awake all night, thinking of their misdeeds when suddenly, their nightmares come true. Just down the hall he hears the sound of heavy chains approaching his door. He knows there's no use in screaming as his fate is already sealed. And with a huff the monster appears, a large horned creature covered in chains and carrying a bundle of birch sticks. And in one fell swoop the creature that is Krampus takes the child, stuffing him into a large sack, and disappearing into the ice cold night.
