Have you ever had so many things go wrong you thought about just throwing in the towel?
Our story picks up this week right after Dale and Brian have dealt with months and months of bad product. But this series and season of trials is far from over.
ForeverLawn has gained a new dealer and he’s on his way with an installation crew for training. Having never trained anyone before, this is new territory for Dale and Brian–and the ride is anything but smooth.
In order to properly train a whole team, they need the product to be right this time.
Then, the series of unfortunate events begins…
Journey with Brian and Dale as they share the many struggles of this series including a 200-foot roll, a broken-down truck, and hours of mowing and cutting artificial turf with scissors in what felt like a never-ending string of bad luck.
Through it all, Brian and Dale use their experiences to testify that God's way isn't always the easy way; yet through the trials He is building your story, and He will use it all for His glory.
Don’t throw in the towel. Your story of difficulty is being written to impact others.
Welcome back to Impact Without Limits.

How do you respond when you're dealt a bad hand?
After months of deliberating and decision-making, Dale and Brian have landed on a product manufacturer and ForeverLawn is up and running. Once again, projects are finally being sold.
Ready to get the installations in the ground, the Karmie brothers unroll their first order– and notice a major issue with the product.
This unfortunate surprise quickly turns into a discouraging trend. Install after install, every order received was wrong in some way: bad backing, streaks, incorrect lengths…the list went on and on.
Regardless of these pains with their supplier, Dale and Brian never let these challenges negatively impact a customer. Ensuring a standard of quality and care consistent with their ForeverLawn mission, Brian and Dale established a step-by-step conflict resolution known as the 3-D’s: Disarm, Defend, and Define. These principles became critical in maintaining good relationships and providing a high-quality product and service despite consistent roadblocks outside of their control.
Often we are thrown into situations where we’re dealt a bad hand. In this episode, Dale and Brian share the importance of doing everything we can to play that hand right despite the cards we’ve been dealt: assume ownership, don't cast blame, and keep your perspective fixed on the big picture. It’s not always easy, but as you’ll hear from the brothers today, it is always worth it.

Have you ever taken a check but refused to cash it?
With the intention of establishing that their company has a national presence, Brian and Dale added a short little phrase to the newly established ForeverLawn website that started to trigger a lot of opportunities they had not foreseen.
People are starting to reach out to expand ForeverLawn into new territories and to become dealers of the brand. In Brian and Dale’s eyes, these were doors being opened that they had not really planned on walking through at the moment.
Not wanting to completely shut the door on opportunity they meet with several individuals interested in becoming dealers and walk away with a check that they shove into a drawer for several weeks.
Recognizing the opportunity God was presenting they decide to walk out in faith and eventually cash the check.
This episode is a great reminder that our plans are not always God’s plans, and sometimes we are required to step out in faith and walk through the doors He is opening.
Don’t let the fear of what’s on the other side of the door prevent you from taking a leap into the unknown.

What’s the difference between persistence and insanity?
You've probably all heard the saying, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." Yet we are also taught that there is value in persistence.
So, what is the difference between persistence and insanity?
Brian and Dale spend this episode diving deeper into the dichotomy between those two: persistence and insanity.
They’ve reached a point of growth that has them walking through some of the same stresses they have been through before. They need a team.
Instead of building up a team of anyone who fit the skill set and could do the work, they change their strategy to better achieve the image they wanted for their company.
Prioritizing character over convenience, this time the brothers meet the challenges of building a team with persistence. They’re dedicated to finding team members who help drive their business and promote an image of quality and integrity.
Are you at a point where you’re feeling like you're walking the same storyline over and over again? It may be time to redefine what you’re chasing.
Is what you’re pursuing right? Worthy of your time? Is the dream you’re chasing on track with who you want to become and how you want to serve?
If the answer is yes, then get up and keep chasing after it.
