There is a lot of thought today that goes into what true leadership is and what its relation is to corporate sustainability. Leadership is much more than authority, it is about developing people and helping others reach their full potential. It is also about equipping others with the right tools to not only to maximize the success of the company, but also the success of those that have a relationship to the company. This could be customers, communities and much more. When people guide others in their actions they become role models for the people they lead, motivating them, supporting them, and facilitating communications that have an effect that reaches far beyond the company.
