Today on the show, we bring you the remarkable Celeste Barber. We have no doubt you know precisely who Celeste is - she does have 10 million followers across Instagram and Facebook - but we’ll introduce her to you anyway. Celeste began her career as an actress, but over the last six years, has channeled her talent for making people think and laugh into a movement she calls ‘Challenge Accepted’. The premise is simple and brilliant; via her Instagram page, Celeste parodies the content Instagram has become synonymous for - exceedingly thin, obscenely famous women posing in unrealistic and sometimes downright bizarre ways. Celeste’s comedy has made her a local and international sensation: she’s graced the likes of In Style Magazine, penned a best-selling memoir, is the new face of MCoBeauty, and is practically taking over the world, one post at a time.

In this chat, we wanted to hear about Celeste’s life before fame, the awkward stages of pursuing a career in the public eye, her relationship with rejection and failure, and what it’s like to build a business off the back of being yourself.
