Goooood morning, everyone! HAPPY LAST DAY OF 2020!
Today on the show, we bring you the formidable Samantha Wills. You likely know Samantha’s name from her eponymous jewelry line, Samantha Wills. Back in 2004, Sam decided to invest her last $500 to showcase her jewelry - jewelry she was then selling at the Bondi markets at Australian Fashion Week. People fell in love, and very soon, she was overwhelmed with orders. Three years in though - despite boasting a successful and very popular business - Sam found herself $70,000 in debt. So, how did she turn it all around? And why did she decide to close, rather than sell, a 10 million dollar business?
In this chat, we go everywhere, from burnout to chronic illness to broken relationships to business.
For more from Samantha, follow her on Instagram @samanthawills. If you enjoyed this episode, may we also recommend you listen to our In Conversation chats with Kylie Brown and Michelle Battersby.
