This week's episode of In Joke seemed to be very chatty. We chatted about Tommy Little, we chatted about things comedians hate, we chatted about how to do politics in comedy, we chatted about the start of the Edinburgh Fringe, and we chatted about the gig guide. It was more chatty than a conversation between two chat potatoes.

Our online expert Corey is back with another acclaimed Podcast review! Listen to it hear; I know the appropriate noun would be 'here', but seeing as we're talking about hearing something I thought the other form of 'hear' would be more appropriate, thus eliciting humour by constructing a pun around the different spellings. Never mind.

We called Shakespeare, we texted him, inboxed him, sent him telegrams, notes, postcards, pigeons... but he never got back to us. That stupid Elizabethan fool. The best we could do was Adam from The Soothplayers, a company that does entirely improvised Shakespeare. I suppose he was pretty good though.

Boy, that's worrying - this episode of In Joke, featuring an interview with Shakespeare improv group, Soothplayers; a Classic Comedy Corner look at The Simpsons, and a discussion about comedy in gaming is one of the most sophisticated shows to date. Indeed, I think this is the first time the word 'sophisticated' has been put in the same sentence as 'In Joke'...

What do Leonardo Da Vinci, Richard Stubbs, Florence Nightingale and King Sejong of 15th Century Korea have in common? They were all great people. Indeed, Richard Stubbs may be the greatest out of all of them, as he was the only one to appear on In Joke last Sunday - an interview you can hear via the link below.
