You can't read through scripture without seeing the work of the Holy Spirit in it. From Genesis 1, as He's hovering over the waters to Acts where He's the power behind every move and work of the first church, the Holy Spirit is all over scripture. So, how come He's so misunderstood? If you look at all the different churches, you'll likely see tons of different ideas of the Holy Spirit. So, which one is right? And what does it mean for me?
In this episode, Whit and Adam explore scripture and church history to find out who the Holy Spirit is and what His presence in our life means. Check it out.

Do you ever feel like you've not quite arrived at what your life is supposed to be? Maybe you're a little tired of feeling like you're behind and now you feel like you've wasted your life. Or at least the time you've had so far. Or how about going through life feeling like your relationships are all in order, feeling genuinely happy? Then, BOOM, conflict.
You might not have guessed it, but that's exactly where Heather and Jamie are at in life. Summer 2021 opened their eyes to areas of disappointment, striving, and tension and they want to change them. So, they've both decided to do something about it. They've both made appointments with doctors, therapists, and life coaches with the goal of becoming better versions of themselves.
You're invited to grow in this season with them. Every week, they'll sit down in the podcast studio and share with each other (and us) what they're learning and invite us to grow with them, to look at our lives, and let them be really, truly molded into the image of God.
We invite you to begin a journey of Jesus transformation with Jamie and Heather.
In this episode, Whit and Adam sit down with their friend, Isaac Witty, to hear his story of leaving the church, journeying away from God, and the miraculous way God found Him again.
Isaac has been a stand-up comedian for 20+ years and has been on A Prairie Home Companion, NPR, David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, and opened for Jim Gaffigan and Amy Schumer. He grew up in church with his family, but something happened in his 20's. While following his career dreams, Isaac quickly completed his task of leaving God behind.
Cancel culture seems like it's a brand new social construct, but actually, we see the same roots of cancel culture in scripture. We all want to be on the right side of history, we all want justice, but the tension between justice and mercy is not easily navigated. So how do you live righteously in an age of moral outrage?
In this episode, Adam and Whit discuss cancel culture. Check it out.
We know we can't be the only ones who wake up at 3 AM wondering, "AM I WASTING MY LIFE?"
Internet influencers, 30 under 30s, and a to-do list/goal-focused culture put constant pressure on you to be more successful at a younger age than the generation before you. As a result, the pressure convinces you that nothing is worth doing unless it's wildly successful. Your purpose becomes "success," and it's exhausting. It's also not that great of a purpose either.
In this episode, Adam and Whit discuss the feeling of wasting your life and what your real purpose may be. Check it out.

Life In Motion: Why asking for help is so hard
Okay, asking for help is hard but aren't friends supposed to be comfortable being honest about how things are really going? It seems like we should be able to rely on our friends but more often than not people are uncomfortable asking for help.
What's the deal with no one asking for help when they need it?
In this episode, Heather and Jamie talk about the humiliation, embarrassment, and fear that has held them back from asking for help in the past and how to get better at putting themselves out there.
