Whether we acknowledge it or not, we are relational beings. We are designed for connection, interdependency and relationships. 

While some of us gravitate to it more naturally or accept it as a need more obviously, anyone who has spent time in solitary confinement knows that human beings are not meant to be alone.

It is precisely for this reason, that many of our deepest wounds are created in relationships. It is also for this reason that our deepest healing often happens in relationships.
