Pastor JD delves into the topic of sexual immorality today...specifically the sin of homosexuality. The argument that many people stand by is that homosexuals are born this way. The fact is, ALL people are born with some sort of sin nature! This is the very reason why we need a Savior...to forgive us of our sins and cause us to walk in His ways.

Have you ever thought about God's Law in the way that Pastor JD just described them? God's Law truly IS His loving instructions for our lives. Now, we know that we cannot obey God's Law in order to be saved. But, saved people obey God's Laws because we know that God loves us and knows what's best for us.

As we've been making our way through this book of Romans...some pretty heinous sins have been mentioned...sins that we quickly look down our noses at. Today Pastor JD reminds us that there are plenty of things listed in the Scriptures that are just as bad as those sins that we might be quick to judge others who've fallen prey to them.

Today Pastor JD shares a few facts about the current state of government spending. The debt that our country has incurred seems utterly insurmountable.

The United States has taken on so much debt that it will be nearly impossible to recover without another economic meltdown. One of the extremely plausible possibilities to remedy this is a global currency which will essentially absolve all debt. And how would one participate in this global currency?...perhaps a mark on one's forehead or hand?

Why do people deny that God exists? Pastor JD gives a fairly straight forward answer today. Those that deny the existence of God do so in an attempt to salve their own conscience and dodge His righteous judgment. But, will that matter? ...on judgment day? Will God be appeased simply because someone says they don't believe He exists. I THINK NOT!

At the very core of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the necessity of confessing guilt. In fact this is the first step. You see, if a person cannot admit that they are guilty before a Holy God, than what need will they have of a Savior? This is why sharing the truth about sin is so vitally important.
