In spite of what we may convince ourselves of, God is FOR US ALL THE TIME!!! He doesn't play hide and seek with His followers. He always wants us to be blessed and to be walking in the fullness of His will. So, relax...simply ask Him how He wants you to serve Him and then walk in the goodness of that calling.

We know that the writer to the Hebrews warned us that though some of us ought to be teachers, we need again to be taught the basic principles of God. We need to grow up!

The number one way that we can hear from God is through His Word. Why? Because by the hearing of the Word of God we know that our faith is increased. When our faith is increased we begin to believe that God does speak and that what He says is absolutely true. So, make the time to spend time in God's Word.

Our prayers don't have to be doctrinal dissertations. Many times our prayers are only lifted up to impress others and even to possibly impress God. God is not a respecter of man. When we pray, it should be with reverence, but also with a tone of friendship...you can talk to the God of the Universe just like you talk to a dear friend.

Has that ever happened to you? You've been in prayer with a church group or even with another person and something that they say in their prayer hits you right between the eyes, so to speak? God's ways are so much higher than our ways and He is able to use prayers that are not your own to minister to you.

As Christians, it's easy to fall into the tendency of getting ahead of God. We so long to please Him and a lot of times in that zeal we take things into our own hands...rushing His plan. God wants us to be faithful step by step. Once we are faithful with where He has us now, He will reveal the next step in His plan for us.
