We know that in the last days that immorality will be so widespread that even the so called Body of Christ will be infected. Today Pastor JD shares a sobering article by Paul Harvey that seems to perfectly describe our culture today. With shocking detail Mr. Harvey speaks about the moral decline that we are seeing happening all around us today.

It's easy to be discouraged in this life. Turning on the television or reading the latest stock reports can really keep you down. But, as we just heard from Pastor JD, happiness comes from those worldly things...those things of this kingdom. But, joy comes from knowing that God is for us and always has our best in mind.

You see, it's not so easy is it...:-)...But, we know that God's Word commands us to wait on Him. Why? Because God's ways are so much higher than our ways. We don't know what tomorrow will bring but our Father does and He governs our lives based upon that knowledge.

Waiting on the LORD is one of the single most difficult things that we are asked to do in this existence. But, as we'll learn today, waiting on the LORD is something that comes with reward. It won't always be easy...but, in the end God's timing is far superior to what we might have planned.

The enemy is just like a wolf. A wolf always looks for the weakest member of the flock and attempts to herd them away from the rest of the flock. And then in that helpless place, the enemy draws near for the kill. Brothers and sisters, when you're struggling, don't forsake the Body of Christ...make sure you stay in fellowship.

The question of why isn't necessarily a wrong one. We just need to accept the fact that God may not give you an answer. He may require you to simply trust Him.

When we put God first in our lives, all the possible threats of this life and existence seem to fade away. Now, that doesn't mean that our lives are without struggle. It just means that we KNOW that we KNOW that we KNOW that God will never leave us or forsake us no matter HOW difficult life becomes.

It doesn't matter how long you live on this earth, the curve balls of life are always going to be coming down the pike. The important thing to remember is that God is with us during those hard times. And how we handle and walk in those struggles will communicate who we trust in.

We're commanded in the Scriptures to remain innocent when it comes to wickedness and the evil of this world. Now, that doesn't mean that we don't study these issues...it simply means that they aren't to be our focus. Our focus should be on the Truths of God's Word. When we know God's Word, the darkness of this world will be evident.
