The enemy has a way of convincing us that our sins are too great for God and that He won't forgive us. Friend, heed the encouraging words from Pastor JD...be quick to confess and repent of your sin. When you do this, God has promised to forgive and cleanse you. We need to recognize that God knows us and we simply can't hide from Him.

Today Pastor JD begins sharing with us some of the characteristics that will mark the life of someone who can be used mightily by God. And as we just heard a moment ago...taking risks in God's name is vitally important. Now, these seeming risks aren't actually a risk to God, because He's knows all things...they just require to step out and trust Him.

Unfortunately, there are many men and women serving in ministry that are simply doing so to receive the praises of men. Jesus told us that people like this will receive their reward. Pastor JD shares with us that God will mightily use those who are willing to speak the truth no matter what the consequences might be.

It's easy to lose track of what's important. This life and all its circumstances can really distract us from God's calling on each of our lives. One of the best ways that we can be used by God is to simply walk in humility. When we make the decision to walk in humility, God can certainly use us mightily.

Perhaps you're one of those that Pastor JD just mentioned...you hear the pleas of those living in the middle east for a dual state between the Israel and the Palestinians. But, as we just heard from Pastor JD, this is a lie from the enemy. God never promised that Israel would be a state. Israel is and will always be a nation.

You may listening to In Spirit and Truth today thinking, how can I be used by God? I'm just an 'average Joe'. I didn't go to seminary, I don't know the Word of God as well as the pastor. Friend, God is ready and willing to use you no matter who you are. In fact, God delights in using the simple of this world to accomplish His will.
