This week is a double-header from Koikeya - Creamy Mozzarella & Lemon potato chips and Koikeya Craft Shrimp & Tomato Cream corn snacks.

Heading over the España for some Quillo Balsamic Wine flavored potato chips. Sure, there’s no such thing as “Balsamic Wine” but that didn’t stop the flavaradores at Quillo from trying to make it happen. So, how’d they do?

I like to eat. Clearly. But I don’t think I’ve ever even heard of combining creamy mozzarella and lemon before. Let alone on a potato chip. So, this should be interesting

Oooh, what’s this? Did someone say extruded corn product? Yum! So yeah, the form factor here is decidedly Cheetos, not potato chips. But the flavor combo of shrimp and tomato cream isn’t exactly one I’d put together in real life. So, how were they? Listen and find out.

The program that dares to ask, “what happens if we put (almost) every chip reviewed on In The Chips with Barry between two slices of buttered bread?” Ok, that is fairly specific and I am pretty sure no one else is asking that. Still, gotta do what I gotta do. This week, I’m putting RW Garcia Organic Bar-B-Q Corn Chips and Old Dutch Smokey BBQ Potato Chips through their paces. What happened to Utz Maui BBQ potato chips? They kinda sucked to being with so not gonna sandwich ‘em. Them’s the breaks.

Roundin’ out BBQ Week with some Smokey BBQ potato chips from Old Dutch. That’s right, Canadian chips! But before you turn your nose up at the idea of BBQ chips from Canada, might I enjoin you to peep the review? You may be surprised (unless you’re from Canada in which case you know what’s about to go down 🙌 )

Sure, Utz is based in Pennsylvania but Hawaiian BBQ is definitely a thing. And when done well it's a balance of sweet, sour, savory, with maybe a hint of heat. So, how’d Utz do?
