Popping over to Germany for our Friday review. Yes, it’s Kessel Chips Sweet Chili potato chips send over by my friend Marc (danke!). Known the world over for their exceedingly spicy cuisine, Germany is the epicenter of all things chili. Ok, maybe not but according to the bag these chips are both good and cheap. The second part doesn’t matter much if the first part isn’t true. So let’s see how they do.

Most companies try to plus up their chicken flavored chips and snack by using terms like “Roastin’ Chicken” or “Rotisserie Chicken.” Not Twisties out of Australia. Back at ya with another Guest Review Tuesday. Today, Katie is taking on Trader Joe’s Chips in a Pickle Dill Pickle flavored potato chips. I’m looking forward to trying them myself but for now will have to live vicariously though Katie.

Ah, the burstin’ onion. In America, we call it a Bloomin’ Onion because an Australian themed chain restaurant founded by people who had never been to Australia. And if that sounds absurd…well it is. Still, in my book, a deep friend onions are pretty dang tasty no matter what you call ‘em. So, let’s see how these Canadian chips sent in by Justin and Brooke (Facebook) stack up.

Can It Sandwich? is back, baby! And this time I’m putting Bubba’s Not-Cho Natcho cheese ‘nana chips, Thin Hot n’ Spicy potato chips, and SE Grocers Dill Pickle potato chips though their paces. But that’s not all, stay tuned to the end for a bonus sandwich. Whaaaaat? Yeah, that’s right, bonus!

Finishing off the week with some Dill Pickle potato chips from SE (South East) Grocers send in by my man Hurley over @snackmurder in Instagram (go check him out!). Let me tell you, as store brands go, SE Grocers is up there with HEB in the quality of their flavors. Just nails ‘em. And if you know me you know Iooooove dill pickle flavored anything. So, maybe my hopes are little too high for this? Nah, it’ll be fine.

Aussie time is here again! Yes, today I am trying out Thins’ Hot n’ Spicy potato chips. Sure, hot and spicy are synonyms. And yes, neither actually tell us anything about the flavor itself but…ya know what? No “but.” What is the deal with that? Yes, that’s right, banana chips. Except these are from the green Saba banana so think not sweet. Throw in that we’ve got a vegan nacho flavor and things just get more interesting. These were sent in by Jessie and Travis, thanks much!

It’s the Can It Sandwich? program! You know, not every chip I review is destined to be sandwiched. I’ve learned that certain potato chips will do well/maybe do well and others not-so-much. So this week I’m sandwiching Kettle Brand Habanero Lime potato chips and Lay’s of Poland Creamy Forest Mushroom potato chips. But alas, not the Quillo Lemon & Pink Peppercorn potato chips. I mean, they were fine as potato chips go bit just didn’t have that punch of flavor to really succeed on Can It Sandwich? So, how did our two contestants do? Let’s find out!
