Heading out to over the Pacific today with some Lay’s Thailand Sweet Basil flavored potato chips. But they’re not just bringing the sweet. As we see on the bag, they’re also bringing some heat. Sounds neat. Will it go down in defeat…ok, I’ll stop that now.

When my friend Marc sent me a bag of Funny Frisch Chipsfrisch Currywurst potato chips from Germany, I thought, “I’ve already reviewed those!” But then I thought, why no try em again to see how they hold up?” Yes, it’s the first ever re-review of a chip on In The Chips with Barry. In that review, I liked em but they were especially noteworthy. Gave ‘em 3 stars. So, how’d they do this time? Find out

Can It Sandwich? Sure, there were five reviews during Mega Week, some potato chips, some snacks, but that doesn’t mean they all made the cut. In fact, only Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle potato chips, Arnott’s Vegemite and Cheese Shapes, and Arnott’s Meat Pie Shapes made the cut. As we round out Mega Week, we depart the shores of potato chips and kick it back to Australia for some Arnott’s Australian Classic Shapes (still not a fan of that name). Sent in by Treats From Oz (thank you!). But it’s a variety box with Vegemite & Cheese, Meat Pie, and Sausage Sizzle. Now, I’ve not had either the meat pit (at least not the one pictured on the package) nor a Sausage Sizzle. But I think I can figure out what they’re supposed to taste like enough. Let’s find out if that’s true.

Dang Thai sticky rice crisps flavored with Aged Cheddar. WHat’s crazy is they soak the rice in watermelon juice and coconut milk, and then flavor it with cheese. Not sure how all that works but I’m fixin’ to find out!

We’ve hit the midway point of Mega Week here on In The Chips with Barry. Today, we’re heading to Australia for some Cheese Twisties sent in by Treats From Oz. Sure, it’s a departure from actual potato chips but I like cheese and I’m all for a twisty snacks. So it stands to reason I might dig these, no?

Mega Week continues with Miss Vickie’s Sweet Chili & Sour Cream potato chips also sent in by Justin and Brooke (gracias). This is a classic potato chips flavor combo so a lot of y’all are excited for this flavor and I am too. Let’s do it!

Boy howdy, have I heard about these chips for a long time. Never saw them in the stores here so Justin and Brooke were kind enough to send some down. I loves me some dill flavored anything. Add in spiciness? We’re talking my kind of potato chip. But, how they do? Let’s find out.
