Ladies and gentlemen, today we bid a fond farewell to Lay’s China (for now, I suppose) with the last bag in reserves - Plum flavor potato chips. The “Oriental Cherry Milk” flavor was a very pleasant surprise so this could be brilliant…or a disaster. I guess there’s only one way to find out!

 Yes, we finally made it through the box that contained 15 different flavors from Lay’s Thailand. Today, its Nori Seaweed flavor chips. I love the taste of nori (I have a thing for Japanese food). So will these chips bring the toasty yet briny goodness? Find out!

Let us go back the Japan for some Soy Sauce Ramen flavored Pringles! I loves me some ramen so I was very much looking forward to the nuanced yet complex flavors on an extruded and formed potato product, err…chip. Think they nailed it? Find out!

¡Hola! Time to head back to España for some El Valle Chorizo and Fried Egg potato chips. If you remember, Quillo Fried Egg potato chips were fantastic. Now El Valle comes along and adds chorizo?! This could be phenomenal or…?

Ladies and gents, may I present Durian fruit flavored potato chips all the way from Lay’s China. Durian fruit is, well, one stinky mofo. And not good stinky (is that a thing?). But the flavor can be…interesting? perhaps even good? So, how do these stack up? Let’s find out, shall we?

Swerving off the path of traditional potato chips a bit with some Pringles from Japan. Yes, it’s Yakisoba time! Yakisoba is a meaty, brothy noodle dish from Japan. But there’s a lot of complexity to tackle so it’d be easy to get it wrong. So, did they? Or did they stick the landing? Find out!

The great taste of roasted chicken and honey finally make it onto potato chips (j/k, of course) and Lay’s Thailand is the one bringing’ it the markets. So, are they cloyingly sweet and devoid of chickeny goodness? Overly chickeny with not sweetness? Or perfectly balanced? Hmm, guess you’ll just have to watch to find out!

Quick note: Until now what I've been doing to generate this podcast was upload the video I do for Instagram (@inthechipswithbarry) and let the audio portion be the podcast. Upon reflection, that kinda blows as it is lazy plus that iterations is edited to be punchy and rely a lot on visuals. So, going forward am editing the audio from my original recordings specifically for this format in the hopes that it is more enjoyable experience.
