Well, well, well, look who got ahold of chips from Kroger even though there’s not a Kroger nearby. That’s right, friend of the show, Vincenzo Landino was kind enough ship these bad boys all the way from Ohio. I love the Cuban Sandwich. Ham, cheese, mustard, dill pickles…man, I’m salivating just writing this. So you know I had to try these Kettle Cooked Cuban Sandwich Potato Chips from Kroger, right? Here's the rub though, there's no pig squeezin's in 'em. That means if you're vegetarian you can dig in (sorry, vegans they do have dairy in the ingredients). So, how’d they do? Find out!

Today, I tuck into a Lay’s Thailand Spicy Lobster action. I haven’t had the best of luck when it comes to seafood flavored potato chips. Will Lays’ of Thailand be able to turn the tide and serve up a spicy lobster experience? Find out!

 The first flavor we tried from Lay’s of China was Numb & Spicy Hot Pot Flavor and it was great. Buuuut then we tried Italian Red Meat Flavor it was bland as all get out. So the question is, where will Cucumber Flavor land? Yes, that’s right, cucumber flavored potato chips. Not sure why this is a flavor but hey, I am game to check ‘em out. 

 Workin’ my way through box o’ chips from Lay’s Thailand that I bought online a while back. Up next, Extra BBQ Flavor potato chips. No, not American style BBQ, Thai style! I loves me some BBQ flavor and with this version promising extra I may have been a bit too excited up front. Check out why.

Time for chip flavor number two from Lay’s China - the oddly named Italian Red Meat Flavor potato chips. Even with that odd translation, one imagines a beefiness bolster with garlic, oregano, and maybe even some basil. So, yeah, about that…these didn’t exactly pan out that why. Check it out.

Back to Britain (kinda) with John & John Suffolk Cheddar and Chives potato chips. I say kinda because, while the chips are made in Britain, the company that owns the brand is German. But how cares? How they taste is what matters! Will the chips deliver the cheese AND chives or will it be a cacophony of over-seasoning? Find out!

Red chili, while evocative isn’t exactly specific. After all, a lot of chilis can ripen to red. Still, it implies some serious heat. So, do they bring it? Or drop the ball? Find out!

We’ve already tried their jamón flavored chips which were smokey but not really jamóny in my opinion. Not sure how they get a fried egg flavor but I’m willing to give it a go. So, do they pay it off? First up, Numb & Spicy Hot Pot Flavor potato chips. I loves me a hot pot and if you’ve ever had anything with Sichuan peppercorns then you get why they used “numb” to start the flavor description.
