La Abuela Nieves Tomato and Olive flavored potato chips. Got these on the cheap at World Market Cost Plus. And after tasting them I can see why. Thoroughly mediocre. Oh well.

Heading back to España for some Superbon Chili Crisps. Yes, the comic book graphics on the outside of the bag promise explosive head. And with cayenne and paprika on the ingredients list, it looks promising. Let’s find out!

As we round out Thai week, we encounter and unexpected flavor - lasagna! That’s right, Lay’s of Thailand makes a lasagna flavored potato chip. Hey, look, I bought a box of mixed flavored chips from someone in Thailand off eBay and this is was one of ‘em. Is it a Thai flavor? No. Is from Thailand? Yes! So, let’s get to it!

 Thai Week continues on In The Chips today with Hot Chili Squid. For the record, I love Thai food and I also love shrimp chips. So this isn’t a case of my tastebuds not being open to Thai flavored chips. In fact, it’s the opposite. So, does Lay’s of Thailand bring both the squid AND the heat? Find out!

Back to Japan! This time I’m trying…potato chips? Well, there’s no obvious seasoning indicator like a cartoon cow or wasabi illustration so I can only go by what is in the translated ingredient list. Let’s see…Bonito powder, fish extract, kelp…yep, I’m in. Let’s see how they taste!
