Boulder Canyon is bringing the flavors of the Thanksgiving holiday with Turkey and Gravy flavored potato chips and Pumpkin Pie flavored potato chips. I dig the freakiness but do they work as flavors? Find out!

Switchin’ things up on today’s In The Chips. That’s right, I’m reviewing Herr’s Stubb’s BBQ Cheese Curls. This podcast is just a touch longer than my normal ones so you can understand why I’ve stepped out of the realm of chips for this episode.

Next up from H-E-B grocery store in Georgetown, Texas - Smoked Gouda potato chips. They seem to be all about the smoke with this series, no? Ok, let’s find out if they bring the smoky Gouda action nor not! (for a clue look at the episode image)

Had the privilege of attending a friend’s wedding in Georgetown, Texas (about 30 minutes north of Austin). It was a lot of fun and we got to meet her fantastic family. Of course, when on the road, one does not ignore the chip possibilities. So this week and next Monday, I am tasting snacks from H-E-B. First up, Smoked Brisket potato chips from a southern grocery chain H-E-B.

What’s this, another chips interloper? Yep! You see it is called In The Chips so plantain chips qualify for review. Now, I like plantain chips with just salt already so I pre-disposed to like these. That is, if they didn’t screw up the seasoning…

Going back to Japan with Calbee’s BBQ Potato Chips. Unlike chips I buy here, these were purchased from www.japanhaul.com so there is zero English for the ingredients. My guess is there is some sort of chicken squeezin’s in there but I’ll never know. So, are they, in fact, all that?
