Football will continue soon, we promise. And a number of juniors moving up to their senior year next season might have an opportunity to make a pro roster after a successful senior season and college football career. That could mean the XFL, CFL, NFL, or any other league domestically or internationally.
While we're all on hiatus, Frank & James reached out to Michael Rittelmann of the College Gridiron Showcase to discuss the postseason showcases he helps organize to help scouts find both large- and small-school quality players each year. They also speak with a participant in this year's Small School Showcase (part of the College Gridiron Showcase), Johns Hopkins graduating quarterback David Tammaro. David has a real chance to continue his football career even despite the Coronavirus obstacles we've discussed in recent episodes. Hear David's advice to players who might be able to go on to the next level and about his journey so far.
We apologize for the lateness of this episode, but we have one more to go this weekend -- make sure to tune in, and please make sure to "Like" and "Share" this episode for others to find!
After a week that nobody in sports and academics with ever forget, Frank & James recap the Coronavirus impacts on college sports, especially #d3fb schools. After reviewing potential eligibility impacts on winter and spring sports athletes and the potential effects on pro football prospects from Division 3, they're joined by Union College President David Harris.
President Harris discusses Union's response to Coronavirus, where we go from here, and how sports -- especially football -- may contribute to a return to normalcy on Union's campus. His answers were sincere throughout, and you'll see why Union students have been raving about Harris's impact on Union in his relatively short tenure as the school's President.
Frank & James also review the upcoming two weeks of new "In the Huddle" shows -- including upcoming segments with:
Curt Fitzpatrick (New Cortland Head Coach);
We know you're missing sports, and these shows are our way of trying to help fill the void as we try to return life to normalcy just a little bit. While the photo below looks dour, there are light moments throughout these interviews -- something you've grown to expect from our show. Please watch this and upcoming shows, and remember to "like" and "share" the videos for other Division 3 football fans to find them!
