Each year, Frank & James put together a special Thanksgiving show, and this year, they actually surpassed expectations. First, you'll get to see them interview a potential replacement for Frank at the beginning of this episode. Then, they break down the three playoff games involving the five remaining East Region teams in the NCAA #d3fb Playoffs.

 

After providing their own analysis, they bring in Frostburg State Head Coach DeLane Fitzgerald, who coached his team in their first year in Division 2 to an 8-3 record -- he provides some honest analysis of especially the Wesley and Salisbury matchups.

 

Finally, in a first, stay tuned for special Thanksgiving messages from 20 different players who won't be able to get home for the holiday from the five remaining East teams. The show closes with Frank & James discussing what they're thankful for this year as they prepare to spend the holiday with their families.

With so many NCAA #d3fb Playoff games and Bowls, Frank & James jump right in this week to get you brought up to speed. First, they compare their Bowl game picks from Friday -- more precisely, James turns the tables on Frank in the show's open. Then, they jump into "Crunchtime" where they review 16 games including the ECAC, New York, New England, and Centennial-MAC Bowls, and the six NCAA Playoff games involving East Region teams, with plenty of video highlights.

You've seen the 2019 Division 3 Football Playoffs bracket... Now hear from the man who headed up the Selection Committee. For the second year, Lake Forest Head Coach Jim Catanzaro sat as Chairman of the Selection Committee and joined Frank and James to discuss the selections, seedings, and bracketing of the 32 teams headed to the NCAA Playoffs on Saturday.

 

Why was Union treated the way they were? Why not John Carroll? Did having a cross-region matchup like UW-Oshkosh/Salisbury matter? Get answers to those questions and many more in this episode!

It's a BIG rivalry weekend in the East Region, and this week's Coach's Corner & Player Profile focus on two of them.

 

First, in the Coach's Corner, Coast Guard Academy Head Coach Bill George announced his impending retirement Tuesday, effective after the Secretaries' Cup game vs. Merchant Marine Academy. Coach George tell Frank & James about his decision, the big game, and what's next for him after 21 seasons as Coast Guard's Head Coach.

 

Then, in our Player Profile, IT'S GOTTA BE THE SHOES! RPI senior linebacker and co-captain Grant Tragni thinks so -- and he discusses the importance of the big game at Union with Frank & James, the up and down (and up again) RPI season after the shocking Ithaca result last week, and much more.
