    A new institute at the University of Chicago will work on innovative ways to optimize human health. Scientists at the Duchossois Family Institute will use genetics, immunology, big data and the microbiome to study how to strengthen the body’s immune response and natural defenses.     In the late 1950s after winning the Pulitzer and Nobel prizes, Ernest Hemingway holed up in Pamplona, Spain to write a story about two dueling matadors. In the new one-man show Pamplona, on stage at the Goodman Theatre through June 25, actor Stacy Keach portrays the sturm und drang of a Hemingway who, as he tries to write about bullfighting for Life magazine, ruminates on everything from his father’s suicide to the women in his life to a fight he had with director Orson Welles. For Keach, it’s not his first time portraying the great American writer. Back in 1988, he won a Golden Globe for the TV miniseries Hemingway. Morning Shift talks to actor Stacy Keach about bringing Ernest Hemingway to the stage in Chicago.
