  • Hour 2: Controversy in the Old Testament
Creation and evolution; God-ordained violence; the historicity of people, places, and events; questions of human sexuality . . . today, our guest, a trusted Old Testament scholar will address these controversial issues head-on. Avoiding simplistic solutions and polarizing extremes, he paves the way for intelligent conversation regarding these difficult topics, and an informed approach to evangelism.  Learn how to better ‘contend’ for the faith.

  • Hour 1: Who Is God?
For too long, Christians have domesticated God, bringing Him down to our level as if He is a God who can be tamed. But He is a God who is high and lifted up, the Creator rather than the creature, someone whom none greater can be conceived. If God is the most perfect, supreme being, infinite and incomprehensible, then certain perfect-making attributes must be true of him. Perfections like aseity, simplicity, immutability, impassibility, and eternity shield God from being crippled by creaturely limitations. At the same time, this all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-wise God accommodates Himself, exhibiting perfect holiness, mercy, and love as He makes known who He is and how He will save us.  Join us to learn more about our great God.

  • Hour 2: Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
Today, our guest will call us beyond trendy transparency and into something better: true transformation. She will show us that spiritual growth means being both honest and holy - that we can come to Jesus just as we are, but we cannot stay that way. While virtues like vulnerability, honesty, and humility are desperately needed, we should fight for more. After all, the gospel is a change-agent.

  • Hour 1: Knowing For Sure
For years, our guest taught about the assurance of salvation in seminary and Sunday school classrooms. He was concerned, however, to find that some people, for a variety of reasons, were unable to grasp the certainty of their salvation. Today, he will identify these "troublers" of assurance and provides the remedy to diffuse insecurity.  He will explain that by embracing three gifts from God—His Word, His Spirit, and His work in our lives—those who struggle with insecurity are able to personally experience the freedom of God's assurance.

  • Best Of In The Market: A Bad Deal
It’s called the “Green New Deal” but what is it really all about? Will this legislative package help or hurt the neediest among us? Is this proposal about climate change or is it a way for socialists to move toward economic redistribution? Time to look at this with a biblical perspective.  Come with your questions as we look at this headline of the day through the lens of Scripture.
