In the Market with Janet Parshall

Every time our pastor/teacher guest joins us, the phone lines light up!  Why? Because it’s time for you to ask that question – that one question – that has you stuck.  You read something in Scripture but you just can’t grab hold of what it means.  Our guest knows just how to answer your question. Today is your chance to call-in and get that question answered.  Call early as it will be a busy hour of radio today!

At Christmastime, who doesn’t think about angels? Popular culture often depicts angels in ways that have little in common with the Bible's portrayal of heavenly beings. How can we separate fact from fiction? Journeying through God's Word, our guest will reveal who angels are, what they're like, how they help us, and whether we're able to communicate with them. Don’t miss this fascinating conversation.

We began the week by looking at the Scriptures and what it reveals about angels. We then learned how to recognize more clearly the devices and schemes of the enemy and how to be victorious in spiritual warfare. Though following Jesus doesn’t guarantee an easy life, we were taught how to swim with Jesus in the deep waters of life. Finally, we received an update on the spread of the Gospel in the Middle East and heard how we can pray more effectively for those in the entertainment business. Get your dialing fingers ready as we take on some new topics today!

We started the week on In the Market with Janet Parshall with a leading scientist who made a strong case for intelligent design based upon DNA. We then winged our way to Scotland to discuss what it means to weep for the sins of a nation. Mid-week, we discussed an important religious liberty case just taken up by the U.S. Supreme Court and discussed whether or not scientists can create life. Finally, we offered hope and healing to those struggling with the betrayal from infidelity. Now, it’s time for some new topics and we want to hear your thoughts!

This hour we travel to Israel where our world traveler and pastor friend will give us an update on the spread of the Gospel in the Middle East.  Then, we travel in the opposite direction to Hollywood where we learn how to pray for those whom God has called into the entertainment business.  Get ready to lengthen your prayer list and don’t miss a minute of this conversation!

Our guest today will help women heal from the wounds of infidelity with a blend of biblical comfort, her personal experiences, and wisdom gleaned from years of professional counseling experience.

We begin this full hour of news with the headlines of the day and then move to an important decision by the US Supreme Court dealing with religious liberty.  We round out the hour with a conversation about whether or not scientists can create life – or something like it.  Don’t miss a minute of today’s broadcast.

Following Jesus doesn't guarantee sunny skies and smooth sailing. In fact, the waters of life are often tumultuous, crashing over us. Sometimes we can feel that we're drowning in a sea of confusion, division, frustration, complacency, or disillusionment. We need more than a shallow faith to survive these deep waters. Today our guest will teach us how to swim with Jesus in the deep waters of life-facing challenges.

It’s time to visit with our Dundee, Scotland pastor-friend!  Join us to hear his take on several news stories taken right from the headlines of the day.  Learn how to apply a Christian worldview to all that is happening around us!

The Bible is explicit: We live in a world of distinct opponents; our very lives are a battle. Yet too many Christians lose more battles than they win and endure their walk with God rather than enjoy it because they don't recognize the enemy when they see it. More importantly, they have no idea how to respond. Christians must be strategic in their reactions to these clearly defined enemies, learning how to fight biblically and effectively rather than just sincerely.  Join us to learn that we are more than conquerors in Christ.
