In the Market with Janet Parshall

The plight of the poor is often obscured by today's idolatrous monetary beliefs and practices. How can believers better care for "the least of these"? Exploring six biblical themes, our guests will share practical ways to engage in economic stewardship---including earning, investing, spending, compensating, sharing, and giving in ways that embody God's love and provision.

Today we invite you to join the conversation and share your thoughts on In the Market with Janet Parshall. This week, we learned the Biblical model for helping others who face emotional and mental trauma. Then, we explored six Biblical themes to engage in economic stewardship. We also learned how to become a healing presence in the life of someone struggling with PTSD. On Thursday, we heard a stunning story out of medical world from a doctor who has successfully reversed several hundred medical abortions. We also ‘flew’ to the UK and received an update on issues facing Christians there. Today, we discover a new documentary highlighting groundbreaking evidence demonstrating the reliability of the New Testament manuscripts. Now, it’s time to hear your thoughts.

We started the week on In the Market with Janet Parshall with a renowned physicians who offered a holistic guide to total breast health. We continued our ‘no holds barred’ approach to the often-misunderstood topic of spiritual warfare. Then, we learned how to ‘sing the Scriptures’ back to God. Yesterday, we spoke with one of the most admired and respected Bible teachers of our time and we heard an update on Syrian Christians and what is happening to them in the midst of mounting tensions. Today, we put some new stories on the table and ask you to weigh in!

Join us for a full hour of news.  Starting with the headlines of the day, we move to a stunning new story out of the medical world that let’s women know there is a way to reverse a very deadly choice.  Then, we wing our way to England to hear about some of the work the Christian Institute is doing there for Christians.

This hour is designed to not only awaken you to the news of the world, but to recognize that Jesus is the only answer.  We start with the headlines and then speak with one of the most admired and respected Bible teachers of our time.  We then get the real story out of Syria.  What is happening to the believers on the ground in the midst of the mounting tensions in that country?  We will discuss all this and more!

Do you know or love someone who has experienced severe trauma that left his or her brain changed by PTSD?  As someone who suffered from PTSD herself, our guest knows what is most helpful on the path to recovery.  She will join us to offer insight into what is happening in the brain, give us background on the treatment of PTSD, what we should and shouldn’t say to someone who suffers and more.  Come with your questions and learn how to become a healing presence in the life of someone who suffers.

In the Bible, Moses sang. Miriam sang. So did Deborah, David, Mary, Paul, the angels, and so many more. The Israelites went to war singing; they sang over victories, over happy moments and hard moments. They knew something we've lost sight of: When we learn to sing God's words back to Him, we align the deepest spaces of our hearts with the deepest places of His--and we experience breakthrough. So why do we relegate singing the Word to just worship teams?  Our guest today will teach us how to ‘sing the Scriptures.’

Put your armor on!  We continue our ‘no holds barred’ approach to the often-misunderstood topic of spiritual warfare.  What questions do have? How much does Hollywood influence your thinking on this topic? Should we be afraid of the ‘enemy?’ What do you need to know to experience real victory in your life? Join us for a lively discussion.
