Is it possible to use the 'gift of gab' to get yourself into eternal Paradise?
It sure is.
But I don't recommend you wait until you're face-to-face with the Almighty. Over the weekend I hosted a gathering of zikr in my home, and I shared 5 specific ways you can, quite literally 'talk' your way into Heaven, starting today, including...
A couple of weeks ago, at the monthly Zikr Gathering in our home, I shared some reflections on the verse:
"So indeed, with difficulty, there is ease. Indeed, with difficulty there is ease." [Quran 94: 5-6]
Allah always speaks truth, even though it takes some reflection to see the truth of this verse. I give 5 insights into how any of us can instantly find ease and relief, even in the midst of real difficulty and challenges.
These all apply, no matter how drastic the situation: from loss of loved ones, to disease, death, famine, war and worse.
In this episode, I summarize all 13 ways I've been sharing that make it totally inevitable that you pray on time, every time, 5 times a day.
They're simple, counter-intuitive but have been proven effective by hundreds of my students and coaching clients over the years.
Listen to all of them in this episode (and afterwards, check out the deeper explainer episodes if you want more on any one of the 13 techniques)…
Most people are so desperately trying to 'improve' themselves that they miss out on a critically important Quran verse that gives the actual secret to abundance and success in any endeavour.
When you implement this Quran verse in the context of your goal to pray consistently, you instantly end self-sabotage and guilt and instantly gain divine favour, blessings and success in your mission.
Many years ago a scholar recommended a very simple spiritual practice and guaranteed everyone in the audience, that if you do this only one time, for one day, you'll never want to miss out on the sweetness of faith and prayer ever again.
Turns out, he was totally right. If you've never done this, it will be a game-changer for your spiritual life.
There is only ONE daily spiritual practice that Allah & His Messenger (peace & blessings upon him) consider so important that it was made 'essential' (fard) to the daily life of a Muslim. The question is: are you approaching it with a mindset of mastery… the way a Samurai, Jedi, or Yogi approach their spiritual practices…?
There's a 'secret' to gaining total momentum, motivation and inspiration from the Quran on any of your personal goals… and it's especially effective when it comes to the goal of praying on time, every time, 5 times a day.
We've all been there. You're out and about. Asr time is getting late. The sun is nearly down… but there isn't a mosque nearby and you're never going to get home in time. What do you do?
I used to get embarrased and rush through a prayer hiding, until I realised THIS. Ever since, people not only watch me pray in public, but generally respect it, ask me questions about it and sometimes they even want to join in!
Don't pray out of guilt. It's the worst reason to pray. Guilt feels bad, it brings you down, and wanting to avoid it is kind of a silly, selfish reason to go to the prayer mat. Your ego can run circles around you if guilt is the only reason you're trying to pray.
For too long, a lot of us have settled for guilt as a common reason to pray, because we've been aiming to just 'get it done' instead of aiming to elevate our souls, and be transformed every time we step up to pray.
There are a lot of beautiful, uplifting reasons to pray. Guilt ain't one of em. Watch today's video for more.
One of the biggest blocks to praying regularly is seeing it as a chore or something to 'get over and done with', before you can continue with your busy life.
This is totally eliminated from our minds when we install the 3 mindset upgrades that the prayer is designed to lead us into.
Today's video explains the 3 prayer mindsets that might be the only thing you need to never miss a prayer again.
