The road trip is finally over, and the Anaheim Ducks seemed to play worse as the trip wore on. Paradoxically, the results actually got better for the team despite the overall play getting worse; what is going on there? Jason Hernandez breaks down the wildly inconsistent play from the team, and singles out Lukas Dostal as single-handedly saving the team through the first month of the season. Also, the Ducks went into Pittsburgh looking to capitalize on a win in Long Island, but they fell unto their own sword by giving up way too many shots, and a bad turnover in overtime. Finally, there were some similarities between the Ducks' recent road trip and the San Diego Gulls recent road trip. Fortunately, both teams return home for most of November ready to try and remedy their special teams.
