Some of the improvements include:
-Added paper towel holder to bandsaw
- Updated generic Lathe CAM Template to automatically size softjaw pocket based on stock diameter
- Updated generic Mill CAM template to use G54.2 probing
- Started program hand off checklist and log for common issues
- Updated generic lathe cam template with op 2 origins that auto position
- Adjusted positions of workstations at S700 machines to minimize reaching
- We hired someone!
- Added two different labels to items in our SOP's tab to break out generic setup items, and checklist/templates to mitigate searching
- Updated layout on our job board to better reflect our workflow
- Designed and test printed updated tool tag
- Corum came up with a better way to search for restart within a program
- Added magnetic paper towel holders to each machine
- Updated mill setup checklist template for better readability and reduced typing
- Updated some descriptions to address the most common questions we get. (Andrew at Henry Holsters mentioned it)
- Glove box holder
- The point of TPS is the complete elimination of waste - Shigeo Shingo
- A lot of improving a new product
- Robot emailing
- Hired out CAD
