Zhenghua Yang (Z) is the founder of Serenity Forge, a value-driven video game development and publishing company in Boulder, CO. Having built his first computer at the age of 6 and programmed his first video game at the age of 10, Z started Serenity Forge after a near-fatal illness at the age of 18, focusing on creating meaningful narrative games that challenge the way we think. Z is a TEDx speaker and was selected for Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2020; his art and games have reached fans around the world and have been exhibited at museums such as the Smithsonian Institution. Some notable titles include Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, Cyanide & Happiness - Freakpocalypse, Death's Gambit: Afterlife, and Lifeless Planet.

The purpose of this presentation is to highlight important topics that developers, investors, and publishers should pay attention to when building a Revenue Share Agreement (Intellectual Property, Marketing, and Distribution obligations, Structure of Payments, Preference Rights, etc.). Christian Fonnesbech is Head of IP Development at the Leverage Partnership. He also works with DDM as a Consulting Executive and as a Story Editor. Formerly, he was Head of IP Development at Nordisk Games (Egmont), Narrative Director at Deck 13, and Head of Artistic Research at the Centre For Interactive Media Arts in Norway. In his earlier career, Christian was a video game entrepreneur, producing and directing 35+ game projects for entertainment, advertising, and learning.
