Christian has a brilliant story to tell about why he makes games and how he's doing it while holding down a full time job.  Originally from Puerto Rico, Christian moved to Oregon after Hurricane Maria.  Now he and his team are building an MMO on a budget.  This episode picks up (roughly) where part one left off.

  • Habib Chams - Opportunities for developers and publishers in the Middle East and North Africa

The MENA region isn't usually top of mind for developers and publishers when they are launching their games.  Habib joined us to explain why the region should be.  For one thing, the ARPPU is nearly 10x that of China.  The UA cost for mobile games is lower, and you can release the games in English.  We had some connection difficulty with the interview on this one but it's still full of some great advice.

  • Lauren Anne Marie Carter - Talking about all the things no one talks about as an indie dev

Lauren is the Founder of Narratio Studios, creators of the narrative game "Powerless".  This is hands down one of the best shows we've had, as well as the longest.  Lauren isn't afraid to talk about many of the things that make indie development tough, especially as a woman.  We talk about presenting a game for the first time at a expo for the public, when to know when to kill a game, and much more.  If you're an indie dev, this episode is a "must listen" for you.

  • Adam Creighton - The importance of having a mentor

Adam has a group of people that he checks in with every week, month, or once or twice a year.  It's a system of accountability and mentorship that he believes in and has built over the years.  He was kind enough to let us in on the system and discusses how having a mentor can really help you personally and professionally.
