Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom leads off by offering even more developments after Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro condemned the usage of the death penalty, calling on lawmakers to consider banning it in the State. Then, Dom reveals a controversy that’s broken out at the Jersey Shore, telling that an amusement operator has been banned from obtaining a license for ten years after investigators with the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission determined that her company overinflated basketballs and teased false prizes, scamming customers out of their money. Then, Dom circles back to the death penalty news, playing back a clip from Josh Shapiro’s press conference today in which the Governor said, after failing to explain to his son why we must kill somebody who’s killed, he’s gone back on his previous stance on the issue that helped win him the election.
Then, Dom welcomes Nick Sortor, co-host of the Roundtable, a Twitter Spaces show found @NickSortor, back onto the Dom Giordano Program as he reports live from the scene of the controlled explosion of toxic chemicals at the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. Sortor reports that, since his appearance yesterday, both of Ohio’s United States Senators and EPA officials have come to the scene, telling that he offered the EPA Administrator a glass of the tap water that residents were told was safe to drink until days ago.
