Roy Williams’s Carolina team is a work in progress and many times this season, it has not been a pretty sight to see. Turnovers and poor shooting has been offset by a toughness to grind out ugly wins for a program used to pretty wins. Against an athletic Shaka Smart Texas squad, the Heels tried the same formula that got them to the Maui finals, but in the end, the seniority of the Longhorns came up big in the end.
