Colin Ford wraps up the final of the Super Touring Car Championship held at Oran Park and discuss Holden taking a factory Vauxhall to Bathurst for the AMP 1000. and looked at the final for the GT Production where Domenic Beninca took out the 1998 championship. Possum Bourne talked about taking the Australian Rally Championship with victory at the Rally of Melbourne and he discussed how he was preparing for Rally Australia in Western Australia. Rick Bates discussed his Formula 2 success in the Australian Rally Championship in the factory Daihatsu and he talks about heading for Africa for the Shield of Africa Rally before heading to Rally Australia.

Last weekend The Bend Motorsport Park held its first Supercar event, with the pair from Red Bull Holden Racing Team taking out the two races. Inside Motor Sport hears from Jamie Whincup and Shane Van Gisbergen on their success and what the track offers Australian Motorsport. Rick Kelly and Michael Caruso discuss how Nissan have found the speed which took them to 2nd and 3rd on Saturday Tim Slade talks about his relationship with the Talem Bend region.

Mark Webber talks about data in F1 and his 5 year plan. Geoff Whitton editor Australian Rallysport News discussed the Australian Rally Championship. Ian Silvestron wraps up the 3rd round of the FIK Championship in Melbourne.

Cameron Hill talks about his rookie year in the Carrera Cup Championship and how his family run team has rebounded from writing off their car at the second round of the championship on the start line of the Australian Grand Prix.

Lachlan Mansell previews the next round of the Australian Motor Racing Series at Wakefield Park with TA2, Stock Cars, Outlaw V8s and Aussie Racing Utes headlining the AMRS program, and record entries for GT-1, Legend Cars and Mazda RX8 Cup the weekend is also looking to raise money for drought relief as they support the Buy a Bale Charity

Supercars held their first night event since 1997 last weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park, this week Inside Motor Sport hears from the podium finishers Shane Van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup and Scott McLaughlin. Along with team owners Roland Dane and Ryan Story on their opinions of the event.

Colin Ford wraps up the Final round of the V8 Supercars at Oran Park and confirmed that Sandown and Bathurst would become part of the 1999 Shell Super Series for V8 Supercars. Craig Lowndes spoke about his Championship Success. Gavin McGrath wrapped up the Australian Formula Ford Championship which was won by Adam Macrow and what he recieved through the Ford Generation XR program which provide him with a drive at the V8 Supercar Bathurst.
