In this episode I discuss the powerful Seneca quote: "We are more often frightened than hurt; and we suffer more from imagination than from reality."

Most people are either living in the past or in the future. Seeing hurt and negative experiences that are not real.

When we are present we see life and ourselves as we really are.

In todays episode I dissect the wonderful Seneca quote: "Associate with people who are likely to improve you. Welcome those whom you are capable of improving. The process is a mutual one. People learn as they teach."

We all have those above us with more knowledge and people below us who don't have the knowledge we have. Endeavour to learn from those above and teach to those below.

  • # 127 - Welcome Each Day As The Very Best Of All - Seneca

    # 127 - Welcome Each Day As The Very Best Of All - Seneca

In todays episode I underline the importance of seizing each day as the best day ever as per Seneca's powerful quote:

“As each day arises, welcome it as the very best day of all, and make it your own possession. We must seize what flees.”

Each passes so fast. Seize it, make the very most of it never waste it.

Make it your own as time goes so fast as do friends and family. No one lives forever. Seized the day!

    Enjoy.

    # 126 - Healing Through Music - Oscar Gullbrandsen U137

In todays episode I have the great pleasure of interviewing Oscar Gullbrandsen from U137.

U137 make amazing music in the cinematic/ambient post rock genre. Oscar, who lives in Sweden, and his best fiend, Adam Tornblad, released their first album in 2013.

Dreamer on the Run was recorded in their tiny one bedroom apartment but sounds like it was recorded in a massive studio with the best recording equipment ever!

Sadly Adam passed away suddenly in 2017. In the podcast Oscar talks emotionally about how he handled Adam's passing, what got him through it, his childhood growing up, his music now and where its heading and his advice for others on a similar journey.

Oscar wrote a song as a tribute for his great friend called "Adam Forever" and thanks to Deep Elm Records I am able to have this song play towards the end of the interview. Such a beautiful track. Make sure you listen!

I really enjoyed this interview. Oscar is such a relaxed and very inspiring man. His music will inspire more and more people as its spreads its charm around the world. Please go check out his music. Links are below.
