  • Daily Decisions/Part 2

When we decide in advance, we don’t waste energy all day long trying to make a decision regarding abstaining from a habit using our limited and waning willpower.

    Try this:

When you’re most rested (first thing in the morning/before bed at night), WRITE DOWN your decision for the next 24 hours: “I will take a break from sugar today.”

When your brain encourages you to not follow through on your decision, write down the specific thoughts that come up: “I’ll miss out if I don’t have dessert.”

Write down the emotions you feel when you aren’t in the habit: “Without sugar, I feel tense, anxious, and bored.”

    Consider these questions:

    • What does my brain tell me?
  • What am I feeling?
  • Are the sensations of the feelings in my body tolerable?
  • Stay tuned… I’m creating an intoxicating experience and course which will be coming your way later this fall. Prepared to be instigated, disrupted, and intoxicated with purpose, passion, and possibility.

My email subscribers will be given first priority when the course opens. I invite you to subscribe here:

  • How To Stop Crappy Habits/Part 1

I invite you to pick one habit you’d like to stop for a predetermined period of time. Forty days is a terrific amount of time, but if that feels too long, pick a shorter period of time.

    Consider these questions:

    • Which habit will you stop?
  • How long will you take a break from this habit?
  • Why do you want to stop the habit?
  • What result might you create if you stop it?
  • How will you feel if you create that result?
  • Stay tuned… I’m creating an intoxicating experience and course which will be coming your way later this fall. Prepared to be instigated, disrupted, and intoxicated with purpose, passion, and possibility.

  • What Denying Your Shadows Costs You

A SHADOW is a part, quality, preference, or desire that you deem to be unsafe for others to witness IN you.

We worry that if someone saw the “real” us, we’d be rejected, judged, criticized, humiliated, or shamed.

When we are unwilling to ALLOW, ACCEPT, and EMBRACE our shadows, our resistance will COST us:

    • self-acceptance and awareness
  • the ability to develop discernment
  • the gifts inherent in the shadows
  • I invite you to consider these questions:

    • What’s preventing me from accepting, allowing, and embracing all of myself?
  • Which qualities am I still judging in others?
  • Which gifts might be waiting for me in the shadows?
  • Stay tuned… I’m creating an intoxicating experience and course which will be coming your way later this fall. Prepared to be instigated, disrupted, and intoxicated with purpose, passion, and possibility.

  • Your Shadows Are Beneficial

A SHADOW is a part, quality, preference, or desire that you deem to be unsafe for others to witness IN you.

We worry that if someone saw the “real” us, we’d be rejected, judged, criticized, humiliated, or shamed.

When we are willing to ALLOW, ACCEPT, and EMBRACE our shadows, we will receive these benefits:

    • humility
  • the releasing of shame
  • letting go of comparisonitis
  • a deeper connection with other people
  • I invite you to consider these questions:

    • How willing are you to offer humility to others and to be humble yourself?
  • How might it feel to release shame?
  • How willing are you to let go of comparisonitis with others?
  • How willing are you to let go of perfectionism?
  • Stay tuned… I’m creating an intoxicating experience and course which will be coming your way later this fall. Prepared to be instigated, disrupted, and intoxicated with purpose, passion, and possibility.

  • How To Embrace Your Shadows

A SHADOW is a part, quality, preference, or desire that you deem to be unsafe for others to witness IN you.

We worry that if someone saw the “real” us, we’d be rejected, judged, criticized, humiliated, or shamed.

Our SHADOWS hold incredible gifts if we are willing to:

    • ALLOW
  • ACCEPT
  • EMBRACE
  • all of these shadow parts and qualities.

When we EMBRACE our shadows, we welcome and/or celebrate a quality or part.

I invite you to consider these questions:

    • Which parts of yourself are you not willing to EMBRACE?
  • Which qualities do you resist welcoming?
  • What gifts might you receive if you’re willing to embrace your shadows?
  • Stay tuned… I’m creating an intoxicating experience and course which will be coming your way later this fall. Prepared to be instigated, disrupted, and intoxicated with purpose, passion, and possibility.
