Filmmaker Ramin Bahrani returns with an adaptation of the Arvind Adiga book The White Tiger. Starring Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra, and Rajkummar Rao, the movie is a rags-to-riches story following Balram Halwai as he climbs out of the Indian underclass. Told in a series of flashbacks with a very personalized narration, does the film more closely resemble 'Slumdog Millionaire', 'Goodfellas', or another movie entirely?
