In his recent study, Dr. Banta-Green and his colleagues surveyed syringe exchange program (SEP) clients to gauge interest in receiving help with cessation or reduction of opiate use. Data from this study produced valuable conclusions about subgroups that are more likely to take advantage of available interventions.
