Phenomenal is what I'd describe this episode with special guest Mary Abichi! We sat back and listened to mary discuss her views on inclusion in sport. She shares her very personal and inspiring story to overcome the biggest of hurdles and still doing what she does. I can honestly say that I am absolutely in awe of her achievements. Mary is currently studying for a PhD in Psychological Research with the hope to understand how to better help people dealing with mental health problems and also understand what we can do to make treatment better and more effective. She's completed her MSc in Neuroscience and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences. She's lived a life that has been truly remarkable. Among her impressive academic feats, Mary is also a competitive 400m runner having achieved a personal best of 52.60 and notably going on to achieve these endeavours: European Indoor Champions (Silver medal), European teams championships and European Outdoor Championships (Bronze Medal).
