I first met Zach Rehder in Sedona where we did an interview and I received a healing session.

In an interesting twist, the first time we recorded a session with Zach, the files did not come out properly and Zach has been very gracious in doing a second take, and funnily enough when we re-recorded this episode, Mercury was Retrograde.

In this interview, we talk about Zach's journey toward becoming a Healer. From his roots in martial arts to learning about healing intuitively.

 "The breath is everything. To breathe and feel is the most powerful healing that any one of us could do." 

What is Breathwork? (and how is it different from breathing?)

• Breathwork is a general term for any conscious breathing practice - anything, where we are mindfully breathing 
• an example of this is Pranayama in yoga 
• there are specific breathwork exercises that are meant to expand your consciousness
• it can help connect to the life force, and that life force heals through emotional release

Zach also shares a quick breathwork practice to look at areas in our body that we notice the least and bring more awareness and breathe life force into it.

He invites us to allow us to feel our feelings - even the uncomfortable ones.
